There is a light in everything.
Sometimes we remember this and can see and feel it radiate. Sometimes we forget the light, and it goes dormant.
Christ awakens this light. Not by a wave of the hand. Not by the push of a button, but by the awareness of you, me, and all of us, together.
As we are aware of the Christ essence in all, we call it forward. It weaves unity, dignity, and togetherness. Is this not the meaning of Christmas—to see the light; to be the light; to follow the light into deeper and grander levels of awareness that heal, rejoice, and bring Christ awareness into our homes, our country, and our world?
This Christmas, we gather together in sacred agreement that we do not hide our light under a bushel but cultivate it this holy night, with candlelight and song, joyful sharing, and sacred remembering.
As we shine our lights together, they shine brighter for all to see. This is a light we can follow. Follow the light.
