World Religions: New Thought and the Golden Thread of Truth in all Faiths

This ten-week course, offered yearly in the spring, taught by Rev. Robert Smith, will assist you in discovering the golden thread of truth that runs through the world’s religions. This study will look at the world religions that influenced and are woven into Dr. Ernest Holmes’ creation of the Science of Mind and Spirit. In particular, we will study the mystical teachings of the five largest religions: Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Additionally, we will look at the 1945 discovery of the Nag Hammadi texts on the shores of the Dead Sea, the content of the Gnostic Gospels, the mysteries of the Kabbalah, and the earth-based indigenous faith traditions.
